TWYG continues to rock the true underground with another "middle of the night/middle of the week" gig! This time on a Thursday night at midnight at the 7th Street Entry on 5/19/05. We're so happy because Timmy from THE INFESTATIONS invited us to play the "headling slot!" EXPECT THIS SHOW TO FEATURE NEW SONGS FROM OUR CURRENT PROJECT(working title= VOLCANO; LOVE, DEATH, TORTURE) These songs are fast, fun, and ferocious. Expect this gig to be the cornerstone of the your rockn' month.

December 2004: Gig follow Up and Update

December 2004 has Minneapolis with little snow on the ground but plenty of frosty temps.

Last weeks show at Bryant-Lake Bowl was a hoot; we went on right after the OWLS (Minneapolis' very finely harmonious band) and enjoyed the crowds warm response. Cheers to Nancy who put the whole show together seemingly without a hitch. Our set was rockin' but we tried to tone it down a bit for the cabaret-style room...Thanks to all who supported the cause.

NEXT GiG=December 11(sat) we return to Minneapolis' West Bank old skool punk haunt, The Viking(NO COVER CHARGE)... Everyone enjoyed themselves last time we played there; so much so that, at bars close, a grande mecca ensued to Palmers bar just around the corner where everyone continued to whet their pusses&whistles. See You There!! (opening band at around 10....TWYG @ 11pm)

Chuck D and WeedShare, Allan Sparhawk of Low, and a Benefit for NE Minneapolis Green Party Candidate, Tom Taylor

GET MUSIC Guide which is a great place to get WeedFiles is now featuring T.W.Y.G. song, OPEN-Mic NAZI. Check this out as it is an unsolicited honor for us.

Black-Eyed Snakes(from Duluth, MN) will be headlining the T.W.Y.G. CD Release show on October 22 at the Turf Club in Saint Paul, MN. In trying to promote this show, I am suprised by so many people who don't realize that the "Snakes" is Allan Sparhawk's (from the band LOW) side project which appears to be as serious as any other touring band one might come across.

!!Black-Eyed Snakes will play "live" on RADIO K (770 AM in the Twin Cities) on Friday, Oct 15th(4:30-ish cdt) and also can be heard ON-Line at RadioK.org.

Late last night(thursday) I fell asleep on the couch waiting for Dawn to get home from the PRO-Tom Taylor Bike Ride to several NE Minneapolis bars; Libertines were on Conan O'Brian and I was looking forward to their performance when I awoke in a completely dazed and confused state to Dawn getting home along with 14 other bikers(all men?). I grabbed the freaking-out-barking dogs and brought them upstairs and then fell asleep. No excuses; I was spent. This Saturday, Oct 16, T.W.Y.G plays the Tom Taylor Benefit at Mayslacks bar in NE. We go on at 10:30 pm and Ol' Yeller rocks the house after our 25 minute set. C.U.there!
